Arkansas Guard to join Army wide Moment of Silence

CAMP JOSEPH T. ROBINSON, Ark. – The Arkansas National Guard is deeply saddened by the devastating tragedy that took place at Fort Hood, Texas, yesterday.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire community of Fort Hood, but especially with the Families and individuals directly affected by this heartbreaking event.

Along with lowering the National and State Flags until sunset today as directed by Governor Mike Beebe, the Arkansas National Guard will join the Army wide Moment of Silence at 1:34 p.m. this afternoon.  A brief service will be conducted at the Post Chapel on Camp Joseph T. Robinson at that time.
Those wishing to participate are requested to arrive early as the event will be very brief.  For those unable to attend, we ask that you join us in this Moment from you location, where ever that may be.
