Award-winning author to speak Homecoming in Searcy

SEARCY, Ark. – The Harding University English department will sponsor
Christy Award-winner Tamera Alexander, author of the critically
acclaimed Fountain Creek Chronicles historical series, during
Homecoming Oct. 29-31.

Alexander will speak to general audiences Thursday, Oct. 29, at 7:30
p.m. in the Heritage Auditorium. The event is free and open to the
public. She also will have a book signing at the Harding University
Bookstore located in the Hammon Student Center Saturday, Oct. 31, from
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call 501-279-4421.

Harding had a record enrollment this year of more than 6,600 students
from all 50 states and 49 foreign countries. It is the largest private
university in Arkansas and attracts more National Merit Scholars than
any other private university in the state. Harding also maintains
campuses in Australia, Chile, England, France/Switzerland, Greece,
Italy and Zambia.
