Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce President/CEO joins Leadership Arkansas class

Sept. 3, 2014 (Batesville, AR)—Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce President/CEO

has been accepted to the Leadership Arkansas Class IX. Johnson said of the acceptance, “I am very excited to be accepted to the Leadership Arkansas program. I believe in the mission of Leadership Arkansas to make a difference in our state by developing better leaders.”

Leadership Arkansas is a nine-month interactive, development program that is held annually by the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce. The program provides firsthand insight into the numerous aspects of state leadership, including state history, social and environmental roles, economic development, industry, and legislative issues among others with the goal of fostering the growth of leadership knowledge and capabilities.

This year’s program is set to begin in October and will end in June of 2015.
