Greers Ferry Lake Area Alzheimer’s Arkansas Walk

Ozark Health in Clinton is one of the many valued corporate sponsors for 2009 fundraising Walk being held October 31st at Fairfield Bay’s Woodland Mead Park. Each fall WALKS are held in Little Rock, Conway, Hot Springs, Pocahontas, and Fairfield Bay. This year we are also celebrating Alzheimer’s Arkansas’s 25th year of providing caring services to Arkansans. Last year the five events raised in excess of $206,000, enabling Alzheimer’s Arkansas to continue providing needed programs & services for the more than 100,000 Arkansans affected by Alzheimer’s and related dementias.

Alzheimer’s Arkansas is an independent non-profit 501(c)(3) organization serving Arkansans. Funds raised in Arkansas stay in Arkansas. Their mission is to provide the information and support needed so that all Arkansans affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias are able to live with dignity and comfort until a cure is found. Discover whether your church, school, or other organization has formed a WALK team, and if not, consider forming a Team for them. We also welcome individual and corporate sponsorships. Free T-shirts with a minimum $25.00 donation to the first 275 registered participants.
