Griffin: Today We Reflect on the ‘Freedom and Hope’
Congressman Tim Griffin (AR-02) issued the following statement in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day:
“For all Americans, today serves as a reminder of the promise of freedom and hope Dr. King wished for all mankind. It is a time for us to remember the injustice endured by so many and the legacy of Dr. King, who transformed and strengthened our communities and our nation. I am particularly proud of the many courageous Arkansans, such as the Little Rock Nine and many others, who have fought to make Dr. King’s dream a reality.”
