Harding University to host Disney Pixar animator Feb. 28 and March 1

The Harding University communication department will provide students with the opportunity to learn from Disney Pixar animation Editor and Harding alumnus David Condolora Feb. 28 and March 1.

Condolora will present his expertise and experience with students on his work with animation editing, including his film credits “Brave,” “Tangled,” “Wreck-It Ralph” and many more. He will also share with students the business aspects of the West Coast and the environment associated with working in the entertainment industry as a Christian.

Condolora will be welcomed to campus Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. at Starbucks in Legacy Park. A dinner will follow at Chili’s that will benefit the Harding National Broadcasting Society. Students will hand out flyers beforehand at Starbucks to receive 10 percent off each meal. Condolora will speak in chapel at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. March 1 and will host a session at 11 a.m. in the Reynolds Center Recital Hall on the details of working at Disney Pixar. He will speak at 2 p.m. on jobs and the film industry, and he will give one-on-one discussion and advising to students who wish to pursue a film or animation career.
