Karaoke For a Cause is an evening of competition, great food, silent and live auctions. The 2012 event will have two categories of competition: the soloists’ category and group category will allow individuals or duets, quartets and the like to compete. At the event, each performer or group raises money as they perform. The audience donates money to the performer or group of their choice during the night’s competition. The contestant bringing in the most cash receives the BBBS Karaoke Traveling Trophy. Contestants can begin raising money as soon as they enter the competition through online fundraising.
Karaoke competitor packets are available by calling 612-8888. Sponsorships opportunities are still available and anyone wanting to donate to the live or silent auctions is encouraged to do so by August 15th. Tickets to the event are $40.00 per person which includes your meal and the show.
