Description: Lyon College will host the first Black Tie Blue Jeans Ball, a benefit for student scholarships at Lyon College. The ball will be Feb. 24 at The Cow Palace at Chimney Rock in Concord.
The event also will feature live and silent auctions, a gourmet dinner and dance.
The silent auction, cocktails, hors d’oeuvers, and photos begin at 5:30 p.m. The dinner begins at 7 p.m., while the live auction begins at 8 p.m. The dance, featuring Danny Dozier & The Lockhouse Orchestra, is at 9 p.m.
Individual tickets are $75 each. A singles package is available for $175 and includes one ticket, lodging and transportation to the event. A couple’s package is $250 and includes two tickets, lodging and transportation to the event.
