The Music Roots program is sponsored by the Committee of 100, the Mountain View Bluegrass Association, Mountain View School District and the Ozark Folk Center. The program is committed to teaching youngsters traditional music on acoustic instruments through the Mountain View schools.  This program provides instruction as well as instruments to children who would otherwise not be able to afford to learn the music of this wonderful tradition. The sponsors provide these services in the hopes of having traditional music live on for generations to come.

Join us for the evening of May 12, 2009 as the students share what they have learned during the year.

The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. with the doors opening at 6:00 p.m.  Admission is FREE.
