Description: The Ozark Folk Center will be hosting a week of workshops for the old time string band instruments, July 5 – 8, 2010. Evening concerts will feature old-time string band music. Special guests include Clarke Buehling, Matt Brown, Dan Levenson and Lukas Pool.
Classes will meet in the morning for individual instrument instruction. After lunch, everyone will participate in jams, taking turns leading out and providing support. Don’t miss an opportunity to play with some great artists, as well as tighten up on your performing skills.
$160/4 days (price includes all park admission fees for the Crafts Village and evening music shows (Wednesday and Thursday nights). Orientation will be at 8:00 a.m., Monday, July 5, 2010 in the Small Auditorium located in the Administration Building.
