Ozark Foothills Literacy Project to Hold Tutor Training Workshop

 

The Literacy Project, which serves Fulton, Sharp, Izard and Independence Counties, teaches adults who are learning to read and adults who are learning English. The Literacy Project relies on trained volunteers to provide one-on-one tutoring for its adult students.  There are approximately 18 students currently waiting for tutors.

The Literacy Project will hold a tutor training workshop on Sunday, July 26th at 2:30 p.m. It will be held in the Literacy Project office, 608 Water St., Batesville, AR. To register or for more information, please call 870-793-5912 or email info@literacyindependence.org.
