Register for Quilting Classes Set For August
Melbourne – Ozarka College will offer a quilting class this fall at the Melbourne campus.  Jennifer Hale will teach quilting as a continuing education class on Thursdays starting on August 27, 2009.

The beginner level quilting class will meet from 5-8 p.m. on August 27 and September 3, 10 and 17.  Students will learn basic quilting skills, including the steps to preparing and assembling a quilt project.  The quilt will be made entirely of fabric strips, a great project for coordinating fabrics or a scrappy look.  At the end of the class, students will have completed a quilt project from start to finish.  Tuition for this course is $60.00 and the pattern fee is $9.00.

Other supplies will be needed to complete each class.  A materials list will be provided to each student at registration.  Limited enrollment will be available.  To pre-register or for more information, call the continuing education department at 870-368-7371.
