Renee Preslar with Arkansas Department of Emergency Management said three people sustained major injuries when a house was destroyed near Pearson in Cleburne County Wednesday night. Preslar said she didn’t know how serious the injuries were.

Nine houses in the county also were damaged and debris obstructed several roadways including Highway 36 westbound from Searcy.

In Saline County15-20 homes a were damaged, but no injuries were reported.
