Starbucks coming to Harding University

Dr. David Burks, president of Harding University, announced Jan. 25 that Starbucks would be opening a location on campus.

The Starbucks will be located on the first floor of one of the new apartment buildings being built on the west side of campus for married and female students. This full-service Starbucks will be the only commercial business located in the complex.

The new 15-building apartment complex has been named Legacy Park. Each building will be named for individuals who played a prominent role in the University’s development and history. The names have not yet been determined.

This building project is expected to be complete and ready for use by the beginning of the fall 2012 semester.

With an enrollment of more than 7,100 students, Harding is the largest private university in Arkansas and attracts more National Merit Scholars than any other private university in the state. Harding also maintains campuses in Australia, Chile, England, France, Greece, Italy and Zambia. For more information visit www.harding.edu.
