Traveling Art Exhibit Hosted by Harding University

Harding University’s art and design department is hosting the traveling art exhibit “Scribes of Hope II,” held in the Stevens Art Gallery Sept. 4-25. The exhibit is sponsored by Christians in the Visual Arts.

CIVA aims to build a relationship between visual arts and the Christian faith. Founded in 1979, the organization’s mission is to help artists, arts pastors, collectors, critics, designers, historians, and videographers discover the deep relationship between faith and art. The traveling exhibit holds a number of unique and distinct pieces relating to scriptures, songs of faith and prayers.

The exhibit will be displayed until Sept. 25 in Stevens Art Gallery. The gallery is free to the public and is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, contact art@harding.edu or 501-279-4426.
