Batesville Area Arts Council Pottery Workshop

The Batesville Area Arts Council will partner with Main Street Pottery for a Pottery Workshop on Tuesday, August 22, starting at 6 p.m. During this 2 – 3 hour workshop, Karen Bailey will teach you how to create and artistically decorate a carved wine chiller, or kitchen utensil holder. No previous clay experience is needed. Projects will be glazed and fired in the kiln and available for pick up approximately 2 weeks after the class. Clay can be messy, so we suggest you wear jeans and a cotton shirt. The workshop will take place at Main Street Pottery, next to Third Street Farm Supply on N 3rd Street in Batesville, AR. Light snacks will be provided but feel free to bring your favorite beverage. The cost of the class is $50 and space is limited, so pre-registration is required. Call (870) 793-3382 for more information or register online at www.batesvilleareaartscouncil.org.
