Harding University Announces Lyceum and Theater Lineup

Harding University’s departments of music and theater announced their 2013-14 fall semester lineups.

The department of music’s concert lyceum series kicks off Sept. 5 with The Merling Trio, a musical group featuring the violin, cello and piano, at 7 p.m. in the Administration Auditorium. Other events in the series include:

  • Sept. 24: Ryan Fogg, pianist, Administration Auditorium, 7 p.m. $3.
  • Nov. 14: Golden Dragons, Chinese acrobatic touring company, Benson Auditorium, 7 p.m. $3.

The University’s fall theater season includes:

  • Aug. 22-24: A Year With Frog and Toad by Robert and Willie Reale, Ulrey Performing Arts Center, 7 p.m. and 2 p.m. Aug. 24. $10.
  • Oct. 25-26: Homecoming musical Pirates!?! A Pillaging of Gilbert and Sullivan, Benson Auditorium, 8 p.m. $18, $15 and $12.
  • Nov. 14-16: A Company of Wayward Saints by George Herman, Ulrey Performing Arts Center, 7 p.m. $10.
