Improvements to U.S. Highway 67 Require Lane Closures in Pulaski & Lonoke Counties

Construction work on U.S. Highway 67 in Pulaski and Lonoke Counties requires lane closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ArDOT) officials.

Crews will be working on U.S. Highway 67 and its frontage roads between Vandenberg Boulevard in Jacksonville and State Highway 5 in Cabot. Lane closures will begin Sunday, August 27, weather permitting.

Highway 67, Northbound Inside Lane
The left lane of northbound Highway 67 will be closed daily between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., from August 27 to September 1. Traffic will be controlled using signage and barrels.

Highway 67, Southbound Inside Lane
The left lane of southbound Highway 67 will be closed daily between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., from August 27 to September 1. Traffic will be controlled using signage and barrels.

T.P. White Drive and John Harden Drive, Northbound and Southbound Lanes
The northbound and southbound lanes of T.P. White Drive and John Harden Drive will alternately be closed in multiple areas. The closures occur Sunday, August 27 at 7:00 p.m. through Saturday, September 2 at 5:00 p.m. Traffic will be reduced to one open lane and controlled with flagging operations.

This project (Job CA0605) is part of ArDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 4.6 miles of U.S. Highway 67 from Vandenberg Boulevard in Jacksonville to State Highway 5 in Cabot.
