Meth Found In Van Buren County

On July 24, 2009, agents with the 20th Judicial District Drug Crime Task Force and the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department raided a Shirley home searching for crystal methamphetamine.  Officers executed a search warrant early Friday morning at 431 North Forty Road in Shirley.  During the search, officers found approximately 5 grams of crystal methamphetamine, along with some marijuana, all packaged to sell.

Previously, agents made undercover buys of drugs from the occupants of the residence.  20th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Marcus Vaden charged Michael Williams with Delivery of Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine, Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana, Possession with the Intent to Deliver – Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Linda Williams was charged with Delivery of Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine, Possession with the Intent to Deliver – Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Both are being held in the Van Buren County Jail on $50,000 bond and $20,000 bond respectively.
