Title: New Direction Concert Aug 18th
Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers William Carl Garner Visitor Center is pleased to announce that New Direction will be performing a modern bluegrass and gospel concert in the Auditorium of the William Carl Garner Visitor Center on August 18th at 7 p.m. New Direction is a local music group that is comprised of Sherlon Martain, Kendal Roberson, Jerry Sartain, and Jeff Baggett. Carol Dixon is also a member but will not be available to play at the Visitor Center. This upbeat fun group is known to entertain audiences with Old Rock and Roll, Country and Gospel music wherever they go! Come out and enjoy a contemporary twist on your folk favorites, and don’t forget to bring a friend! Seating is limited.
The William Carl Garner Visitor Center is located north of Heber Springs at the west end of the Greers Ferry Dam on Highway 25. The Visitor Center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. All programs are free and open to the public. For more information contact the Visitor Center at (501) 362-9067.
