North Central Arkansas Artist League announces new officers

North Central Arkansas Artist League announces new officers President Connie Hood, Vice President Pauline Sears, Treasurer Bonnie Hookman, and Secretary Judy Shumann.  The transition was marked at a July 11th party at Bayside Art Studio and Gallery, where outgoing President Jan Cobb was presented a beautiful bouquet of flowers from the artists in appreciation for her two years of service.

North Central Arkansas Artist League newly-elected President Connie Hood stands with outgoing President Jan Cobb holding a bouquet received from the artists in appreciation for her past two years of service.

The art group consists of 40 area members, many of whom exhibit together and paint at Bayside each Monday morning.  Bayside is located in Fairfield Bay at Highway 330 and Greenwood Dr., across from the road to the marina. The public is welcome to watch the artists paint and view their gallery paintings.

Other NCAAL art can be seen at exhibits in Fairfield Bay at the Library, Indian Rock Village, Senior Center and City Building; Greers Ferry Library; and in Clinton at Ozark Medical Center near the cafeteria. Also, from July 25th through Sept. 6th they will be featured in the North Central Arkansas Artist Gallery at Indian Hills Country Club in Fairfield Bay.
