Ozarka to Host Student Exhibition and Reception Entrepreneurship / Artisans

Ozarka College Mountain View will host a student exhibition and reception for the Entrepreneurship for Artisans program on Friday, April 8, 2011 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.  This event is open to the public.

The reception for the degree nominees will begin with a slide presentation from each of the four students: Yolanda Johnson, Nicole Morrison, Doris Panicci and Dona Sawyer.  During the presentation, students will discuss their individual goals and the steps they took to achieve those goals.

Students could choose to work independently, or take advantage of mentorships with established area artisans or classes through the Arkansas Craft School. Media presented during the show will be two-dimensional painting, polymer and wire wrapped jewelry, precious metal clay jewelry and a creative combination of clay and leather work.
