14 Total Deaths, 2 Deaths from Cleburne County, 1 Death from Van Buren County, 1 Death at White River Health Center in Batesville of COVID-19 a Total of 743 Confirmed Cases in Arkansas as of 1:30 pm April 4, 2020

Governor Asa Hutchinson and Secretary Smith Confirm 39 New Cases of COVID-19 for a Total of  743 Confirmed Cases in Arkansas as of 1:30 pm as of April 4, 2020. Fourteen (14) Total Deaths and 2 Deaths from Cleburne County in Greers Ferry, 1 Death from Van Buren County in Fairfield Bay, and 1 death at White River Health Center in Batesville in Independence County. At the time of this press Conference, the total was 743 (106 are health care workers), it breaks out as 20 children under the age of 18, 49 age 18-24,  210 age 25-44, 263 age 45-64,  201 over 65, (60% are women, 40% are men) and 72 Hospitalized, 23 ICU Patients and 61 are in nursing homes. 60 people have recovered.  A total of fourteen (14) Deaths reported with COVID-19 two of deaths from Greers Ferry in Cleburne County, one death from Fairfield Bay in Van Buren County, one death at White River Health Center in Batesville in Independence County. The state’s death toll now stands at 14. Of the Total Deaths, there were 10 over 65, 4 under 65 according to Dr. Nate Smith with the Arkansas Department of Health.
