The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the 67th White River Water Carnival Parade will be Saturday, August 7th at 10am. The theme for this years parade is “Return of the Water Monster.” Registration forms are currently available at the Chamber for float and parade participants.
We will line up at The Town Plaza Shopping Center (On Main Street across from Liberty Bank) at 9am.The wet zone will be in the 100 east block of Main Street (in front of the courthouse.) Candy is allowed at the parade to be thrown from float and parade participants. No water balloons will be permitted. Maximum height for a float is 13ft. – No Exceptions. The Deadline to enter the White River Water Carnival Parade is Monday, August 2, 2010. If you want your float to be judged you must get a number prior to August 5, 2010 at noon or the entry will not be judged. You can receive your judging number by returning the registration form to angela.connell@mybatesville.org, or by dropping it off or mailing it to the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce located at 409 Vine Street, Batesville, AR 72501.
