The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for improvements to a roadway in Faulkner County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
The purpose of this project is to resurface 4.9 miles of Highway 89 between Clinton Road, east of Mayflower, and Interstate 40.
Rogers Group, Inc. of Nashville, TN was awarded the contract at $1,492,301.75.
Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is expected in mid 2021.
