The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) is seeking public input for the development of the Long Range Intermodal Transportation Plan (LRTIP).
AHTD has created a fun, quick and interactive survey for citizens to provide their input on the LRITP at the website and tell the AHTD how they feel future transportation dollars should be invested. The following website will be available until September 16, 2016:

Using input from people all across the state, AHTD will develop the LRITP which will be a comprehensive document that details goals, objectives, policies, investment strategies, and performance measures to guide future transportation investments. The LRITP will examine all aspects of the state’s multimodal transportation system, including highways, bridges, public transportation, rail, bicycle and pedestrian, ports and waterways, and aviation.
Once the AHTD has taken the information gathered by this survey and created the LRITP it will be presented to the public for further commentary. This document is expected to be released for public review later this fall.
