The Batesville Area Arts Council is pleased to present Convergence, an exhibition by Landon M. Perkins, at the BAAC Gallery on Main (226 E Main St), October 15 – Nov. 19, 2021. Perkins is an artist from Tallahassee, Florida. He earned his MFA degree in Printmaking from Syracuse University in 2017 and his BFA degree in Studio Art from Florida State University in 2014. His artworks have exhibited internationally, nationally and are part of private collections throughout the United States, Europe, Australia and the United Kingdom.

Convergence is the process of merging separate variables into a unified whole. More than ever, our shared human experience is witnessing elements of nature, biology, and technological advancements collide toward this prospective. For better or for worse, Convergence brings together a body of work by artist Landon M. Perkins surveying our near imminent environments and its many commodities. These mixed media works aim to warn of the present, reflect on the impending, and ultimately question our power and place in nature.
