The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for Batesville Montessori School (BMS) on Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 10:30 a.m. The new Batesville Montessori School facilities are located at 195 11th St. in Batesville.
BMS has undergone many changes in recent years. After a tree fell on its beloved Broad St. house, the school sought a temporary location at the First United Methodist Church at 615 E. Main St. in Batesville while the board of directors, administration, and parents searched for new location options. BMS will officially open the doors to its new home on Thursday, Aug. 13 for its annual open house. BMS is still accepting fall enrollment for toddler and preschool classes.
All BMS students, parents, teachers, and alumni are invited to attend. Community supporters, chamber members, ambassadors, board members, and staff are also invited to attend.
