Philip William Rasmussen 50 years old was arrested by the Ohio State Police. He is being held awaiting extradition back to the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
Rasmussen had walked away from the McCrory Clinic (a non-secure facility in McCrory, Arkansas) back on March 25. Rasmussen was sentence to 15 years by Judge John Putman on July 12, 2007 on a felony charge of Battery in the Second Degree for attacking and injuring another jail inmate. After serving approximately 3 ½ years Rasmussen was paroled to the McCrory Clinic.
