Blue Highway, Paul Williams and Louisiana Grass at Fall Bluegrass Festival in Mountain View Nov. 11-13

Blue Highway, Paul Williams and Louisiana Grass will headline the Eighth Annual Fall Bluegrass Festival in Mountain View, set for Nov. 11-13 at the Ozark Folk Center auditorium.

Other groups in the weekend lineup are The Keislers, Blue Rain, Link Family, Hickory Hill, Lost & Found, Posey Hill, and Nothin’ Fancy.

Groups will play in a rotating schedule from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday evening (all gospel night), and from noon to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. There will be cash drawings at intermissions and at the conclusion of each evening.

As a special treat on Saturday, Sylamore Crossing will perform at 11:45 and 5:45. This is a young group, all under 12 years old, most being a product of the Music Roots Program.

In addition to scheduled performances, there will be indoor and outdoor jamming areas for informal sessions throughout the weekend.

The Mountain View Bluegrass Association, Inc., is a non-profit corporation formed in 2003.  Since its inception, the association has donated proceeds from the festivals to the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce, the Ozark Folk Center and to projects supporting young musicians in the community.  The goal is to continue supporting programs that serve to enhance the community.
