7th Annual Spring Bluegrass Festival Band Lineup!

Another impressive lineup of bluegrass bands are set for the Seventh Annual Spring Bluegrass Festival March 12-14 at the Ozark Folk Center auditorium in Mountain View.

Groups performing are Lifted Up, The Hartley Family and The Leatherwoods, on Thursday only; Cody Shuler & Pine Mountain Railroad on Thursday and Friday; Farewell Drifters, Avery Trace and Stone County Connection on Friday and Saturday; and Timberline Drive, all three days.

Groups will play in a rotating schedule from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday evening (all gospel night), and from noon to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. There will be a cash drawing at the conclusion of each evening.

In addition to scheduled performances, there will be indoor and outdoor jamming areas for informal sessions throughout the weekend.

There is no reserved seating for the shows. Individual day tickets are $15 (Thursday and Friday), and $20 (Saturday), and three-day passes are available for $45. For more information call 870-269-2542 or visit www.MountainView-Bluegrass.com.

The Mountain View Bluegrass Association, Inc., is a non-profit corporation formed in 2003. Since its inception, the association has donated proceeds from the festivals to the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce, the Ozark Folk Center and to projects supporting young musicians in the community. The goal is to continue supporting programs that serve to enhance the community.
