Calico Rock Historic District is the featured “Walks Through History” program June 9

Saturday, June 9th, the Calico Rock Historic District is the featured “Walks Through History” program of theDepartment of Arkansas Heritage. Buildings on Calico Rock’s Main Street (Highway 5 at the White River Bridge) date from the early 1900’s. Free guided tours of the Museum, Artisans Cooperative, VisitorsCenter and other Main StreetBuildings begin at 11:00a.m. In the “Homestead”building behind the museum, Questors International Calico Bluffs Chapter will have a “Fashion Time Line” display of women’s clothing, hats, purses andjewelry from 1860 to 1960.
