Call Center Established to Determine Total Residential Damages

North Little Rock – The Arkansas Department of Emergency Management (ADEM) is announcing the establishment of a new call center that will open at 8 a.m. on Monday, January 4 and will be in operation thru Friday, January 8. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

 Specifically, the state wants to hear from residents who were affected by the December 23-24 severe storms and flooding that took place in the following counties: Bradley, Calhoun, Clark, Clay, Cleburne, Cleveland, Craighead, Dallas, Drew, Faulkner, Grant, Greene, Hempstead, Jackson, Lafayette, Lincoln, Lonoke, Miller, Monroe, Nevada, Ouachita, Poinsett, Prairie, Pulaski, Saline, White and Woodruff.

 The state is requesting the following information from citizens in those counties who sustained damages: Primary homeowner’s information (Social Security number, damage address, phone numbers, etc.); type of insurance, type of damages; types of necessary needs, temporary housing needs and uninsured personal property loss. It should be noted the information being collected is not an application for assistance.
