Monday, August 22, the theater became aware of issues we needed to address to insure the safety of our people and our wonderful audiences. We quickly resolved them and were proceeding to map out other renovations when a second problem arose. To quote HGTV’s Property Brothers, “We won’t know what’s behind the wall until we open it up.” It was the second issue, the time frame needed to correct it and the expense of keeping the theater in its present location that led the board to the very sad conclusion that Conway Dinner Theater would temporarily close.
We thank you for your support these ten plus years. We ask you now to continue supporting community theater by attending The Lantern and Red Curtain Theaters in our city.
