Customers Gain Insight Into Their Energy Spending;Find Answers With New Bill Analyzer

Mt. Home, AR. – Entergy Arkansas, Inc. now offers online information showing why a customer’s bill amount may have changed compared with previous bills.
The Bill Analyzer provides information related to the customer’s electric account. Available information ranges from simple statements to details of the customer’s usage, energy charges, fuel and other factors.
“The Bill Analyzer presents specific information to a customer about their account,” said Customer Service Manager Mike Ragland. “They can see exactly how much electricity they used and how much it may have changed from previous months. It even shows the possible effects of temperature.”
Entergy Arkansas offers Bill Analyzer through My Account Online. The new service presents to customers:
·        Secure access to personal account information.
·        Simple summary information or detailed analysis.
·        Links to energy efficiency information and tools like ENSIGHT.

“Customers have choices about how much information they look up concerning their bill.” “Beyond the simple overview above, they can get details on the charges and usage on their bill. For customers who need a history of their usage, it is simple to review or print the information.”
In addition to the Bill Analyzer, another new feature allows customers to donate to the Power to Care fund through My Account Online. Power to Care helps low income, elderly or disabled customers pay their energy bills in times of financial distress.
The new features have been added to the basic account activity already available to customers in My Account Online. They can see and print their current bill, see old bills, pay their bill online, update their contact information, arrange for payment extensions and find out about power outages.

Customers can also perform special transactions, including receiving e-mail alerts, signing up for bill management services like Level Billing and Pick A Date and checking the status of a work order.
The View Outages system gives information to customers during a weather emergency. Red lines show streets where power is out. Pop-up windows tell customers when power will be back on.
“Entergy Arkansas continues working to bring more functions for customers,” added Ragland. “The company is developing cell phone outage texting service to be available in the fall.”
