Ernie Dumas at The Library

The Faulkner County Library welcomes veteran journalist Ernie Dumas for an afternoon talk, book signing, and Q&A on Saturday, August 3, at 2:00 PM. His memoir, The Education of Ernie Dumastraces the political evolution of Arkansas following World War II, and explores the defeat of Governor Francis Cherry by Orval Faubus, the son of a hillbilly socialist at the end of the McCarthy ere, and leading up to Bill Clinton, Arkansas’s first president of the United States.
