First Electric Cooperative Storm Update

The severe thunderstorm, wind and tornados that moved across Arkansas last night caused numerous power outages for First Electric members.

At this time, First Electric Cooperative has approximately 3,000 power outages as follows:

• 2,000 in Lonoke County
• 600 in Pulaski County
• 400 in Saline County

Repair crews worked throughout the night last night, and will continue to work until all power is restored. First Electric Cooperative encourages everyone to treat all downed power lines and poles as if they are energized and to notify the utility company and local law enforcement officials as soon as possible.
