Freezer Cooking Workshop to be Offered at University of Arkansas Community College

The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville’s Community and Technical Education Division will offer a one evening freezer cooking workshop on Monday, April 8, 2013 from 6-8:00 p.m.

Instructor for this course, Jennifer Cannon has struggled in the past with having enough family time, let alone time to prepare a meal and sit down at the dinner table to eat together. One way she has taken back her family time is with freezer cooking. Cannon will instruct participants with time saving tips and technique to plan ahead to store healthy meals in the freezer. This method allows those with hectic schedules to spend more quality time with their families and enjoy a home cooked meal.

Participants will leave with a DIY recipe guidebook for their own freezer cooking. The fee for this course is $26 and the course will take place in the Row Johns Building, Room 815.

Pre-registration and full payment should be received at least five business days prior to the class. For more information, call (870) 612-2082 or log on to www.uaccb.edu and click on “Programs & Services”, then “Community & Technical Education.” Senior citizens receive a 20% discount. Please inquire when registering!
