Description: The Greers Ferry Lake World Walleye Classic will be held beginning noon Feb. 26 through April 2 noon. Greers Ferry Lake is home of the World Record Walleye, weighing in at 22 lb., 11 oz., caught by Al Nelson on March 12, 1982.
Five percent of the purse (after expenses) goes to the single largest legal walleye caught each week during the five-week tournament. The week runs from noon on Saturday to noon on Saturday. Of the remaining purse, the following will be paid to the five largest fish 28 inches and over caught during the tournament: 1st place 40%, 2nd place 26%, 3rd place 17%, 4th place 10% and 5th place 7%.

There will be a tournament dinner, with awards and door prizes for paid participants at the Choctaw VFW banquet hall Sunday, April 3rd beginning at 2 pm (must be present to win), The public is welcome! $8.00 per person-all you can eat!!! Children under (12) $3.00. Paid tournament participants $6.00
