Harding University College of Pharmacy to Hold Medication Cleanout

Students of the Harding University College of Pharmacy will be hosting a Medication Cleanout event Oct. 26 in Searcy to collect and dispose of expired medications.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Searcy Police Department and Farrar Health Sciences Center located on campus. The effort is a collaboration of the Searcy Police Department, the White County Sheriff’s Department, the White County Invested in Substance Eradication Coalition, and HUCOP.

Medications including prescriptions, non-prescriptions such as vitamins and supplements, medications for pets, and nebulizer solutions are acceptable but must be in original containers. Patient privacy will be protected.
