Hill Votes to Fund Department of Homeland Security

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman French Hill (AR-2) released the following statement today after the passage of H.R. 33, as amended by the Senate:

“The one-week stopgap measure will provide one hundred percent funding for the Department of Homeland Security. It also gives Congress the opportunity to continue its fight to override the President’s attempt to use executive power to grant amnesty in violation of the Constitution’s clause demanding a separation of powers.”  – Congressman French Hill
