Holiday Festival of Lights in Conway!

What is the Holiday Festival of Light?  Well it is more
than just a mile long display of animated Christmas lights to drive through and
enjoy with your family.  It is a gathering place to celebrate the joy of
the season with others in your community.  Families are invited to come
out and enjoy the model train display put on by the Conway Model Railroad Club,
have your picture made with Santa, run in the Dashing Through the Light 5K or
Fun Run, make children’s crafts, and eat concessions including hot cocoa,
cookies, funnel cakes and hotdogs.

New to the festival this year is a heated structure to hold
Holiday Related Events.  The structure will be large enough to seat about
one hundred people and will have a stage for performers.  There will be a
special opening weekend starting November 28th with a choir and
carolers from Grace United Methodist Church, children’s stories being
read by Mrs. Claus and children’s holiday crafts.  In addition on
November 28th there will be a welcoming ceremony for Santa Claus and
horse and buggy rides through the lights, and on November 29th there
will be a classic car show presented by the Conway Christian Car Club.  If
you would like to walk through the lights or run do not forget to sign up for
our Dashing through the Light 5K or fun run which takes place on December 2nd.
