The Palette Art League (PAL) is a nonprofit organization and was founded in 1982 in Yellville. They opened their permanent art gallery in 2002.  The goals of the league are to teach art skills through clinics, symposiums and to inspire the community through exhibits and competitions. Recently they published “The Art and Artisans of the Ozarks, volume one”, a high quality, well designed coffee table book featuring art and artisans from the Ozark Mountains.  Artists found the invitation to participate in the book a wonderful opportunity to promote not only themselves as artists but to bring recognition to the Ozarks.  For more information on the Palette Art League go to their web site: www.paletteartleague.org.
