Jeff Bittle is announcing his Democratic candidacy for Cleburne County Sheriff. I have been in law enforcement since 1989 and have experience in many areas of law enforcement including supervisory positions. I am a former police chief of Greers Ferry, took on a position as an International Police advisor and trainer where I worked in Baqubah, Iraq during operation Iraqi Freedom 2006-2007. I am a certified police instructor and am currently a criminal Investigator for the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office. I have been a resident of Cleburne County for the past 40 years. My wife Kimberly and I live in Higden and have 4 children. I have a plan that will make the sheriff’s office one that we can all be proud of. Let’s put honest, dependable, hardworking law enforcement to work for Cleburne County.
