John 3:16 Variety Night Sat, Oct 16

The fifth annual John 3:16 Variety Night will be Saturday, October 16, 2010, at UACCB’s Independence Hall, 2005 White Drive, Batesville, AR.  Variety Night is an annual fundraiser to benefit the Ministries of John 3:16.

  The event will feature the Cache River Soggy Bottom Boys with their unique comedy that is sure to keep the audience laughing the entire evening. The three in the group are brothers, Bobtom, Catfish and Bugger. They were raised in the bottoms of the Cache River and get out of the bottoms about once a month “to break loose”. The group has done shows all over Northeast and Central Arkansas for benefits, Festivals and general gatherings.

 You will find these good ole boys always looking for a woman who has a boat and likes cooking and dancing. They are a hoot and will be sure to make the Variety Night a huge success that will leave you rolling in the isles with laughter.

  There will also be a performance by  the Batesville West Magnet Dance team led by instructor Danielle Jenkerson. The dance team is a big hit with the crowd and sure to make your night’s entertainment complete.

 Tickets are $10.00. They are available at Dairy Queen, First Community Bank and Citizens Bank. Tickets include a scrumptious catfish dinner, entertainment, and a drawing for door prize sponsored by BAD BOY MOWERS… a 2009, 60” EASY RIDE “LIGHTNING” Z SERIES BAD BOY MOWER!! (Must be 21 years or older to be eligible for door prize). Citizens Bank’s money machine will be filled with cash, coupons and prizes and available to anyone making a cash donation.

 Don’t forget about the fun filled live auction with auctioneer Mooney Starr! He will have you laughing the entire time with his fun filled technique!  Dinner begins at 5 pm, silent/live auction 6 pm and entertainment at 6:30 pm.  Mooney Starr will be the Auctioneer and Sheriff Keith Bowers will serve as Master of Ceremony for the event.
