Twin Lakes Retired Police Officers invites everyone to “Law Enforcement Appreciation Day” on Saturday, July 8, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Sheid Auditorium, Arkansas State University, Mountain Home. The event honors police from area towns, the Sheriff’s office, State Police, Game and Fish and others. Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge is guest speaker. “Easy Roads, “Mellow Mountain Band” and “Kepler 9” will provide music. The theme is “Building Cooler Communities”.
