Letha Lois Tapley Chadwell the daughter of Rev. C.W. Tapley and Mayme Barlow Tapley was born in Heber Springs, Arkansas on March 26, 1933, and passed away in Heber Springs on July 30, 2019, at the age of 86.

She was a member of the West Side First Baptist Church, enjoyed her grandchildren, family, reading, gardening, and puzzles. She was retired after teaching for over 50 years and worked for Fairfield Bay for 48 years as an auditor and historian.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Guy Chadwell Jr., daughter, Dr. Rebecca Morriss, stepson, Richard Chadwell and sister, Joyce Tapley McCarty. Survivors include daughter, Cynthia Chadwell Broyles, son, Charles Chadwell, stepson, William Chadwell and wife Patti, brother. C. W. “Junior” Tapley and wife Jan and son-in-law, Michael Morriss, grandchildren, Brian Chadwell and wife Margaret, Shawn Chadwell, Jordan Broyles Hallenbeck and husband Josh, Franklin Broyles and fiance Grace, step-grandchildren, Randy Chadwell, Nicole Wheelock, Christopher Chadwell, great-grandchildren, Noah Chadwell, Rylee Jo Chadwell, niece, Sharon Vinson, nephews Larry McCarty, Terry McCarty, Jay Tapley and Randy Tapley, and other relatives and many cherished friends.

Visitation Saturday, August 3, 2019, West Side First Baptist Church at 1 p.m. and funeral services following at 2 p.m. by Bro. Roger Rucker and Bro. Kevin Riddle with interment at Pearson Cemetery.
