Library Card Registration Event for Rooker Library Nov 6

 In anticipation of the opening of the Oley Rooker Library, the Central Arkansas Library System’s (CALS) twelfth branch, a special library card registration event will be held on Saturday, November 6, at Edwards Food Giant, 10320 Stagecoach Rd.  All present CALS card holders will be able to use their cards at Rooker.  All residents of Pulaski or Perry County or non residents who are employed in Pulaski or Perry County are eligible to receive library cards.  To request a library card, bring a current picture id.  Minors without id should be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with a picture id.  Non residents of Pulaski County should bring a current pay stub from employment in Pulaski or Perry County. Non residents of Pulaski or Perry County not employed in one of these two counties may also be eligible for a Gateway card. Information on obtaining a card through this program will be provided at the event.
The Oley Rooker Library will open on Saturday, December 4, at 10:00 a.m. The branch is located at 11 Otter Creek Court, and hours of operation will be 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.
