Washington – U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln today made the following statement after learning that Congressman Vic Snyder (AR-02) will retire at the end of this term:
“I have great respect for Vic Snyder,” Lincoln said. “He is a remarkable man who has served our country in so many capacities – in the Marine Corps, as a lawyer and a doctor, and as the proud representative of Arkansas’s second district. He has given an incredible amount of time and energy to the people of Arkansas, and he will be missed.
“The time we spent traveling around his district together today is a great example of all of the things Vic and I have accomplished together. I have been proud to serve with Vic Snyder.”
