List of School Closings per Governor Asa Hutchinson’s recommendation, most Closed on Monday all Closed as of Tuesday in the Timeless 106.1 KFFB listening area.
Open on Monday Only:
Batesville School District will be open Monday, March 16th to make arrangements with families to continue services and provide meals from our food service department.
Cave City School District (Attendance is optional). We will open Monday, March 16th as a service to parents who are having to find child care. You will need to make arrangements to pick up AMI packet.
Concord Public Schools will be open Monday to help with any family that needs this extra day to arrange supervision for their child.
Guy-Perkins School District will be open on Monday, March 16, but closed Tuesday, March 17 through the end of Spring Break
Midland Schools will be in session on Monday, March 16th; however, if parents choose to keep their students home, they will be excused.
Quitman Schools will be open for students on Monday, March 16 for a full day of school; any student absences will be excused.
Searcy County School District will be open Monday, March 16th However, students will be dismissed early starting at 12:00 at Marshall and Leslie and at 12:20 at MHS. Lunch will be served before dismissal. Students will be given AMI day packets 6-10.
The South Conway County School District will have school tomorrow and run busses. Absences by students will not be counted. Beginning Tuesday, March 17th – March 20th the SCCSD will be utilizing AMI Days for Instruction.
The South Side School District in Van Buren County WILL BE in session Monday, March 16 but students will be released at 1:00 p.m. Beginning Tuesday, March 17, all schools will be dismissed for the remainder of the week and Spring Break.
Southside Schools in Independence County will be in session on Monday, March 16, 2020. This day will allow students and families time to receive materials and instructions for AMI days and arrange alternate child care.

will be closed to all students for all classes and activities starting Monday, March 16. All days missed will be considered AMI days
Due to the Governor’s announcement during today’s press conference concerning the closure of public schools because of COVID-19, there will be no school or school activities for the beginning tomorrow, March 16th. We will be utilizing our five AMI days this week. School will resume after spring break on March 30th.
